Beyond the Chrysalis is her signature and the first pick. Whitelake Frostfeather, Absolution and Azurelight are the five-star alternatives, Finale of the Deep the four-star one. The version's new event weapon and new wish weapon also fit; neither is in the database yet.

While 2000 ATK takes priority over other stats for Vesna, this requirement is often trivial to obtain and it is subsequently outdone by CRIT stats after this. Vesna forgoes building ER if her ER requirements are above 130%, instead opting to Burst every other rotation while focusing on offensive substats instead.

Most of Vesna’s DMG comes from her special Elemental Skills. While her Burst does do good damage and is a decent secondary consideration, most of its value comes from its Sword Essence generation which does not scale with talent Levels.

Winter's Farewell Feast
When in the Armed for Action mode, Vesna can unleash Windborne Sword at the highest level 4 times instead of 3. Also, each time she enters the Armed for Action mode, she will not consume Sword Essence the first time she uses Windborne Sword at the highest level. Additionally, Vesna deals 20% increased Stellar Swirl reaction DMG when in the Armed for Action mode.
Kolo of Spring's Arrival
The Passive Talent Rite of Spring's Procession is enhanced as follows: when Vesna enters the Armed for Action mode, she will gain the max number of Disciplinary Action stacks. When Vesna's Disciplinary Action stack count is at max, her ATK is increased by 60%. You must unlock the Passive Talent "Rite of Spring's Procession" to gain access to the above effects.
Unwavering Ardor
Tapping on Normal Attach or Elemental Skill in the 5s after Vesna uses Windborne Sword at its highest level will unleash the secret Vila ability Windborne Sword: Transpose, dealing Anemo DMG at 150% of Vesna's ATK as well as summoning a Spirit Blade which deals an additional instance of Anemo DMG at 200% of Vesna's ATK. If Vesna is in the Armed for Action mode, she will also summon a wind pinion to perform Coordinated Attacks against opponents. Additionally, Vesna's Stellar Swirl reaction DMG dealt is elevated by 20%.
C1 adds a second Windborne Sword, C2 raises the ATK every Marvelous Splendor stack gives, and C6 is the one that changes how the rotation is played. Every constellation Vesna has, in full, is on the Constellations tab. This is only which of them are worth the wishes.
Anemo carry whose passive turns Cryo Swirl into Stellar Swirl: Odette keeps Cryo on the field for her to swirl, Vodyanitsa heals and buffs off HP, and Sucrose adds Elemental Mastery and grouping.
The free version of the Stellar Swirl team: Qiqi for Cryo and healing, the Cryo Traveler for a second Cryo source, Sucrose for Elemental Mastery.

Beyond the Chrysalis tops the weapon ranking for Vesna, at 124.72% relative damage at R1 in the Vodyanitsa Sustain - Team column, ahead of Whitelake Frostfeather, New Bough and Primordial Jade Cutter. That order is prydwen.gg's, measured in play and rephrased here; every row of it sits under Weapons below.
Run Scarlet Proof on Vesna, with Gilded Dreams and 2PC ATK% Combinations behind it. Main stats are ATK% sands, ATK% goblet, CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG circlet. Roll substats in the order CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > ATK% > EM > ER.
Talent priority is Skill >> Burst. The Elemental Burst costs 60 energy, which is what an Energy Recharge target has to clear.
Aim for 117% to 128% Energy Recharge, depending on the team and the weapon; in teams that would need more, prydwen.gg's calcs say to skip ER and Burst every other rotation. The standard rotation (Simple Combo) is E EE Q/N3C E 2[N3C E].

Calls forth a Spirit Blade passed down through generations of the Vila to deal AoE Anemo DMG, then switches to the Armed for Action mode and gains 2 stacks of Sword Essence.
Armed for Action DMG dealt by Vesna with her Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks become Anemo DMG that cannot be overridden by another elemental infusion instead. She will also summon a wind pinion that attacks the opponent at the same time, dealing additional Anemo DMG. Each time the wind pinion is summoned, Vesna will regenerate a certain amount of Sword Essence. Vesna can consume Sword Essence to unleash the special Elemental Skill Windborne Sword, which deals to the opponent Anemo DMG. Each use of the special Elemental Skill Windborne Sword in the same instance of Armed for Action will increase the level of Windborne Sword, beginning from Lv. 1 to Lv. 3 max, for more Anemo DMG. Using Windborne Sword at Lv. 2 and Lv. 3 will also summon a Spirit Blade which deals Anemo DMG. Vesna will exit the mode when its duration ends or when she has used Windborne Sword at the highest level 3 times. Exiting will clear all remaining Sword Essence she has accrued. Additionally, when in this mode, Vesna's resistance to interruption is increased. Radiance: Stellar Swirl: DMG dealt with the Spirit Blade becomes Anemo DMG that is also considered Stellar Swirl reaction DMG.

After Vesna uses the special Elemental Skill Windborne Sword or the Elemental Burst For the Tsaritsa!, she also gains 1 stack of Disciplinary Action which lasts 20s. Max 6 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others'. When she has Disciplinary Action stacks active, the Spirit Blade summoned by Vesna will deal DMG at 100% of original DMG + (10% × Disciplinary Action stack count) instead. All active stacks of Disciplinary Action are cleared when Vesna uses the Elemental Skill The Art of Victory or when she leaves the field.
Radiance: Stellar Swirl: Vesna will gain the corresponding effect based on the Elemental Type of her party members: · For every Cryo or Anemo character in her current party, Vesna's ATK increases by 6%; and · For every character of all other Elemental Types in her current party, Vesna's Elemental Mastery increases by 25 instead.
When party members trigger Cryo Swirl, it will be changed to a Stellar Swirl reaction, and party members' Base DMG for the Stellar Swirl will be increased based on Vesna's ATK. Every 100 ATK she has increases the Base Stellar Swirl DMG by 0.7%. The maximum DMG increase that can be gained this way is 14%. After a party member triggers a Stellar Swirl reaction nearby, Vesna enters the Radiance: Stellar Swirl state for 8s.
Holding on Sprint or Jump when Vesna is not in combat will cause her to enter the Coursing state.
Coursing Continuously consumes Stamina to hover in mid-air. Sprinting or tapping Jump to go higher expends additional Stamina. Including the hold on Jump that triggers Coursing, Vesna can go higher up to 3 times in each instance of the Coursing state.
Additionally, in Snezhnaya (excluding Nod-Krai), when Vesna is switched onto the field while the currently active party member is in mid-air and not in combat, she will immediately enter the Coursing state and regenerate 50 Stamina. This effect can trigger once every 10s.

Vesna's abilities multiply ATK. That is read from the scaling rows on the Elemental Skill and Burst, not from the ability description, so it reflects what the game actually multiplies rather than what the text mentions.
Beyond the Chrysalis is the closest fit on the data: it is a 5-star sword with CRIT DMG as its ascension stat, and its passive acts on ATK. Finale of the Deep is the best 4-star alternative.
